Card readers all ask the same few things. Watch the video, then follow the steps at the machine.
Set your items on the counter or belt and let the cashier scan them.
Wait for the total to appear on the card reader screen.
Insert the chip end of your card, tap the card on the reader, or swipe it.
Type your PIN if the screen asks for it, then press the green enter key.
Choose Yes to approve the amount if the screen asks.
Take your card out as soon as the screen says to remove it.
Take your receipt and your bags before you walk away.
Helpful tips
- Keep your PIN private by covering the keypad with your other hand.
