How to Use a Washing Machine: step-by-step guide
Every washer has the same basic controls: a load door, a detergent spot, and a start button.
Open the washer door or lid and check that the drum is empty.
Put in your sorted clothes, filling the drum no more than three quarters full.
Add detergent to the detergent compartment or drop a pod in the drum.
Turn the dial or press the button for the cycle you need, such as normal or delicate.
Choose the water temperature: cold for most loads, warm for towels and bedding.
Close the door and press start, then wait for the machine to beep before opening it.
