Taking out the trash is a weekly chore in most homes.

  1. Check that the bag is not overfull, and press the trash down gently.

  2. Pull the top edges of the bag away from the can and tie them together.

  3. Lift the bag out, holding the bottom if it is heavy.

  4. Carry it to the outdoor bin or dumpster.

  5. Lift the lid, put the bag in, and close the lid.

  6. Put a fresh bag in the empty can back inside.
