The Flint Institute of Arts (FIA) is the second-largest art museum in Michigan and one of the largest museum-connected community art schools in the United States, located at 1120 E Kearsley St in Flint's Cultural Center and founded in 1928. The museum's collection of over 8,000 objects spans 5,000 years and five continents, with notable strengths in European and American paintings and sculptures, decorative arts, and contemporary glass and ceramics — highlighted by a Hot Shop where visitors can watch live glassblowing demonstrations. Admission to the galleries is free, and the art school serves more than 2,000 students of all ages annually in 15 fully equipped studio classrooms.

Hi, I'm Iris! Tell me what you're looking for — a place to preview (like "Park Library" or "a dentist office"), a specific city (like "Lansing, MI" or "Petoskey, MI"), or a how-to video (like "tying shoes" or "self-checkout") — and I'll find it for you.
