Hand sanitizer is for times when soap and water are not nearby.

  1. Check that your hands are not visibly dirty. If they are, wash with soap instead.

  2. Pump or squeeze a coin sized amount into one palm.

  3. Rub your palms together.

  4. Spread the sanitizer over the backs of your hands, between your fingers, and around your thumbs.

  5. Keep rubbing until your hands feel dry, about twenty seconds. Do not wipe it off.
