About This Location

The Nokomis Cultural Heritage Center, formerly the Nokomis Learning Center, is a nonprofit dedicated to preserving the history, arts, and culture of the Anishinaabe people, the Ojibwe, Odawa, and Potawatomi nations. Established in 1989 and located within the Meridian Township Complex in Okemos, the center features a gallery, gift shop, library, and gardens developed in partnership with MSU's Beal Botanical Garden.
