About This Location

The Michigan History Center, a state agency under the Michigan DNR, includes the Michigan History Museum and the Archives of Michigan within the Michigan Library and Historical Center building in downtown Lansing. The museum's five floors feature more than 25 permanent galleries, including a three-story relief map of the state and a replica Upper Peninsula copper mine, with free admission every Sunday.
