The Meijer Branch of the Jackson District Library evolved from the former Jackson County Library headquarters established in 1928, moving to its current building in 1983 on land donated by Fred Meijer. The branch features a fireplace, a Digital Media Studio for podcast and video production, and 24/7 pickup lockers, and received the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce's Brick Award in 2015.
