About This Location
The Michigan Theatre of Jackson is a historic 1930 movie palace in downtown Jackson, designed in the Spanish Baroque style and the only surviving theater of its kind in Jackson County. Now operated as a nonprofit, the 1,158-seat venue hosts concerts, classic films, community events, and local theater productions.
