The Marquette Regional History Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit museum established in 1918 that documents the history of Marquette County and the surrounding Lake Superior region from prehistory to the present. Immersive exhibits include a pioneer cabin moved log by log from a local homestead, a fur trading post, an Ojibwe wigwam, a Finnish sauna, and the J.M. Longyear Research Library with more than 16,000 titles and archival collections.
