About This Location
The Capital Area Multimodal Gateway, opened in November 2015 in East Lansing, replaced an older Amtrak station to consolidate rail and bus service into one intermodal facility near Michigan State University. The 7,300-square-foot station serves Amtrak's Blue Water train, local CATA buses, and Indian Trails intercity buses, with public waiting areas, ticket counters, and 150 long-term parking spaces.
